Glass for the Grass is a Pittsburgh-based shop built around one simple idea: great glass should be intentional, designed to perform, built to last, and crafted with care.

We focus on premium borosilicate glass selected for its balance of form and function. Rather than mass-produced or trend-driven pieces, we curate thoughtfully made glass chosen for durability, smooth performance, and refined design.

By working directly with independent glass artists and studios, we offer limited-run and custom pieces you won’t find in typical smoke shops. Clean welds, intentional shaping, and engineered diffusion aren’t extras, they’re the standard.

Founder's Note

Glass for the Grass was built with a long-term mindset shaped by discipline, preparation, and attention to detail. The idea of opening my own shop first took hold in high school. That interest carried through my decision to major in business in college.

While in college, I competed as a wrestler at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, earning All-American and Academic All-American honors. I later spent over a decade working as a financial advisor and earned my CFP® designation, where precision, risk management, and long-term thinking were fundamental to the work.

As a father of two boys, I’ve learned that life is about building peace, stability, and happiness. Those same values guide the way we approach our work, prioritizing quality, reliability, and respect for the craft.
